Description
The Daisy May Campground, located in Fort Macleod, Alberta, is a family-friendly campground by the Oldman River. It is close to the historic downtown and the oldest golf course in Western Canada.
The campground has over 110 sites suitable for tents and recreational vehicles, including full-service sites (electricity, water, and sewage), sites with electricity (15, 30, and 50 amps) and water, as well as rustic sites without services. Log cabins are also available for rent. Rates range from about $26 CAD for a site without services to $42 CAD for a site with three services.
Amenities include a heated outdoor pool, a hot tub, a free mini-golf course, a beach volleyball court, and horseshoe pits. Sanitation blocks with paid showers, a laundry facility, free Wi-Fi access, and a general store complete the services offered.
Access to the Oldman River allows for fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Waterfront sites offer more privacy but are generally without services.
