Description
Normally not the type to pay for camping, as our vehicle is self-sufficient. But given the scarcity of spots (free or paid) in southern Alberta outside of generic RV parks, this municipal park and campground is really worth it at $15 ($25 with services). Excellent with the amenities offered. Good cell reception, but far enough from the highway to barely hear it. Huge modern playground for all ages. Soccer and volleyball fields. About 100 picnic tables, fire pits, several covered cooking areas, water, and even a bit of shade — quite rare in the area. Some Google reviews complain about the maintenance of the restrooms, but they seemed fine and much cleaner than a bush spot. Everything you could ask for, and inexpensive.
