Description
Camping at Mississagi Provincial Park, north of Elliot Lake, in Northeastern Ontario, by Semiwite Lake. This wilderness park has 72 sites, including 15 pull-through sites for RVs, as well as car sites, walk-in sites, backcountry sites, a group site, and seasonal sites. Please note: there is no electricity at the sites and no showers, but a dump and fill station is available for RVs. On-site: pit toilets, docks, a convenience store, and a picnic shelter. The park offers seven hiking trails (including the Helenbar lookout, at 130 m high), canoeing-kayaking (boat rentals), fishing, swimming, and biking. Season from mid-May to mid-October; reservations recommended. Reservations via ontarioparks.com.
