For 30 years, the 9 founding families of L’Ancêtre have placed animal welfare at the heart of their values. Our cows, grass-fed and enjoying pastures as much as possible, live healthier and longer. Thanks to organic practices, including regenerative agriculture and a culture free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers, we preserve the health of the soil, water, and biodiversity. These methods also contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions while allowing us to produce high-quality milk that is more nutritious and better balanced, which can be found in our organic cheeses and butters.
