Description
Official provincial park located on Route 450, between Lark Harbour and York Harbour, about 60 km west of Corner Brook. The campground has 28 wooded sites without electrical hookups, each with a picnic table, fire pit, and trash can; an accessible comfort station offers showers, flush toilets, drinking water, a dump station, and a coin-operated laundry, as well as a wifi hotspot. The day-use area includes a pebble beach, a viewpoint with an observation tower, and the Governor's Staircase, carved into a volcanic rock formation. Open from early June to mid-September.
