Description
Boondocking at Palm Canyon BLM, in the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge, about 3 miles off US 95 via Palm Canyon Road. Free dispersed camping at the Palm Canyon BLM area is allowed for a maximum of 14 days and is located just outside the refuge boundary. After a slow drive on a bumpy gravel road, we were rewarded with a panoramic view of the desert, with the Kofa Mountains and Signal Peak in the background.
