Description

A vast area for dispersed and free camping along the northern branch of the Kern River, open year-round and able to accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs in about twenty natural sites. No potable water on site, but portable toilets are available during the summer season. This area is popular for fishing, rafting, hiking, and horseback riding, north of Kernville.
