Description

Rustic and free camping area managed by the Forest Service, located along the north branch of the Kern River, about fifteen kilometers north of Kernville. Without designated sites or potable water, it offers portable toilets in the summer and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The area is mainly frequented for fishing.
