Description
Camping at Cleveland National Forest along the scenic Sunrise Scenic Byway, at an elevation of about 1830 m in the Laguna Mountains. Shaded site with pine and oak trees, no hookups or dump station for RVs (the nearest: Buckman Springs rest area, 4 miles east of Pine Valley on I-8); pit toilets and seasonal coin-operated showers, confirmed drinking water. Open from mid-April to October/November depending on weather. Access to a segment of the Pacific Crest Trail and the Desert View overlook. $35 USD/night (+ $10 USD for each additional vehicle).
