Description

Martin Meadow Campground is located along Highway 88, about 85 km east of Jackson, in the Eldorado National Forest in California, just east of Silver Lake. This primitive camping site offers a rustic high-altitude experience. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reservation options. Access is free, making it an appealing choice when the developed campgrounds along Highway 88 are full. Note that the site is accessible only from late spring to autumn, when the snow has melted and the forest roads are open. Please respect nature and leave no trace behind.
