Description

Rustic environmental camping (site e3) of Montaña de Oro State Park, accessible only by foot via a trail from the Islay Creek area. A trout stream runs through the site, where deer and free-range cows are common. There is a composting toilet on site; campfires and dogs are prohibited, and reservations are required.
