The camping at Lake Waccamaw State Park is a fully primitive public site located in Columbus County, North Carolina. Nestled among the pines on the east shore of Lake Waccamaw, the largest natural Carolina Bay lake in the southeastern United States (9,000 acres), this location offers an isolated nature experience and allows for observing local biodiversity.
