Free camping area on the Chattooga River, Andrew Pickens district of Sumter National Forest, open year-round. There are pit toilets and picnic tables on site. WARNING: the sites are a quarter-mile walk from the parking area (access road is blocked) — not suitable as a direct RV site, but parking can work for an overnight stop in a small vehicle. Check local regulations and the legality of overnight stays before stopping there.
