Snake Creek Recreation Area is a 695-acre public state park located in Platte, Charles Mix County, South Dakota. It is situated along the shores of Lake Francis Case, a large artificial reservoir of the Missouri River. The park is known for its wild landscapes, historic steep cliffs, including the burning bluffs observed by the Lewis and Clark expedition, as well as its ideal conditions for water sports.
