Description

Free dispersed camping in the only BLM area in the entire state of Texas (~12,000 acres), Potter County, about 15 miles northwest of Amarillo. No amenities — everything must be brought in and taken out. WARNING: confirmed difficult access, requires a high-clearance 4x4 vehicle or several miles of hiking, with a crossing of the Canadian River; not suitable for standard RVs.
