Camping at Antelope Island State Park, on the largest island in the Great Salt Lake, Utah, known for its free-roaming bison, deer, pronghorns, and bighorn sheep, its sunsets, and its starry skies (designated as "dark sky"). The main campground at Bridger Bay has 64 sites across two loops: the upper loop offers water and electricity, while the lower loop is unserviced. On-site: restroom facilities with flush toilets and showers, vault toilets, a dump station, fire rings, and shelters with picnic tables; pull-through and back-in sites. The island provides access to a beach on the salt lake, swimming, wildlife watching, and trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, as well as the historic Fielding Garr Ranch. Open year-round; reservations recommended.
