Camping at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, near Kanab, in southern Utah (southeast of Zion), at the foot of spectacular coral pink sand dunes shaped by the wind. The campground has 34 sites divided between the old section (pull-through sites for RVs, with fire rings and tables) and the new section, where 12 sites offer water and electricity (30/50 amps), some with full hookups. On-site: modern restroom facilities with showers and flush toilets, a dump station, water points, and limited wifi near the visitor center. The park is popular for hiking in the dunes, off-road driving (ATV/OHV in designated areas), photography, and wildlife observation. Reservations are recommended.
