Description
Camping at Fremont Indian State Park, in Clear Creek Canyon near Sevier, in central Utah, along Interstate 70. The park protects one of the most significant Fremont rock art sites (petroglyphs and pictographs) and features an interpretive museum. Two campgrounds are available: Castle Rock (31 sites, including 29 for RVs from 20 to 45 feet) and Sam Stowe (11 sites, including 7 with full hookups, plus cabins), with flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities (at Sam Stowe), and a dump station. The park also offers numerous hiking trails leading to the rock art panels. Reservations are recommended.
