Description

Dispersed camping area, tolerated and free, along Carbon River Road, in national forest land just outside the Carbon River entrance of Mount Rainier National Park (dispersed camping is not allowed inside the park). About twenty rustic riverfront sites are accessible by vehicle from pullouts along the road, but with no services (no water or restrooms), and vehicle length is limited to about 30 feet.
