Description
Elk Fork Campground is a rustic campground managed by the US Forest Service in Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming. Located at an elevation of 6,000 feet (1,830 meters) along the Shoshone River, it is situated on North Fork Highway (US 14/16/20), about 28 miles west of Cody and 25 miles from the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. This site is popular with horseback riders and hikers due to its direct access to wilderness.
The campground offers 13 shaded sites suitable for tents and small recreational vehicles. Please respect the area and nature, leave no trace behind, and be discreet.
