Parking a recreational vehicle, trailer, or camper on the public road between 10pm and 8am for the purpose of sleeping there is banned ($100 fine), and RV parking outside a campground is capped at 36 consecutive hours regardless, only in front of the owner's home.

Pour du camping central à Canmore, le Camping Wapiti est situé au 100, rue Ray McBride, dans les contreforts des Rocheuses canadiennes. Il offre une vue sur les Trois Sœurs et se trouve à quelques minutes du parc national de Banff.
Le camping est au nord-ouest de Canmore, près de la Bow Valley Trail, du Centre d'information de Travel Alberta et de la route Transcanadienne. Il est à une heure à l'ouest de Calgary et à 20 minutes en voiture à l'est du parc national de Banff.
