Lake Louise isn't an incorporated municipality: the village's streets and public places remain under direct federal jurisdiction (Parks Canada), since the local district (Improvement District No. 9) has no authority over parking or camping. Camping — including sleeping in a vehicle — is banned everywhere there, except at a designated campground with a valid permit.

Emplacement obtenu dans la section VR de ce camping achalandé pour 32$, électricité incluse (27$ sans service). Permis de feu à 8$. Pas de tentes à cette période de l'année. Pas le camping le plus calme, situé près de l'autoroute et directement à côté de la voie ferrée — le train passe toutes les quelques heures et klaxonne fort en traversant. Toilettes propres avec chasse d'eau, douches également disponibles. Station de vidange et eau potable sur place.
