Verified on 16/08/2026
In New Richmond, overnight street parking is banned from November 15 to April 15, between 11pm and 7am, townwide ($30 fine). No provision specific to wild camping or recreational vehicles was found, either in the parking bylaw or the nuisance bylaw. Big and small Québec municipalities alike each have their own way of handling recreational vehicles within their borders. (Source: Ville de New Richmond, bylaw no. 717-00)
