🏛️ Municipal Regulations — RV Parking in Sept-Îles
Verified on 16/08/2026
In Sept-Îles, overnight street parking is banned between midnight and 6am, from November 1 to April 15 (a rule tightened since November 2024; previously midnight to 8am). For recreational vehicles, the city allows free temporary parking every summer in 4 designated municipal lots, for a maximum of 48 hours and vehicles up to 21 feet, no reservation needed; tent camping, open fires, and dumping are explicitly banned there. Québec municipalities don't all treat RVs the same way -- a quick check avoids misunderstandings. (Source: Ville de Sept-Îles)
