Paddle Creek Horse Camp, a free site in the Wayne National Forest, in Ohio, near Ironton and the Vesuvius Lake area. Set up in a large flat field, the camp offers plenty of space for recreational vehicles and trailers, with a capacity for about a hundred people and horses. There are pit toilets and hitching posts; there is no drinking water — full self-sufficiency required. Campfires are allowed (clearance and stone circle required).
